“Are we truly a democratic society?”
This is the question that Joe ponders in his series of articles on how decisions, both personal and political, impact our environment and societal well-being. One thing that you could always count on Joe for was his passion for people and his vision of living in a fair and equitable society. By it’s nature, that passion extended to the political views to which he subscribed. He was deeply committed to staying informed about the world around him and understanding how political structures affect us – at home and across the globe. Many of Joe’s articles regarding the geodesic dome structure are infused with his perspective about how external influences affect the lives of global citizens.
This series of articles was also published as part of his work as a columnist for Dome Magazine and primarily focus on his musings on the broader question of politics. While these articles were penned prior to 2000, it is somewhat disheartening that many of the issues he pondered have yet to be addressed.
